What families need to know
Homecoming is one of LCA’s favorite traditions — a week of spirit, community, and celebration. Use this page as your guide; here’s the short version for first-timers:
- Mon–Fri: Students dress for each day’s theme at school. Themes are listed below.
- Friday morning: Families are invited to the parade and pep rally. Take the shuttle from Gateway Church — campus parking is limited.
- Friday night: Cheer on the Eagles at the home varsity game. Students and alumni get in free.
- Saturday: The dance is for Upper School (grades 9–12) only.

Friday Morning Guide
Parade, pep rally, and coronation happen back-to-back. Campus parking is limited — ride the shuttle, enjoy the parade, then stay for the pep rally at Comstock Field.

Park & ride
Shuttles begin at 8:15 am at Gateway Church in Frisco and run continuously until everyone arrives. Accessories available before you board (while supplies last).

9:00 a.m.
Watch the parade
The parade begins at 9:00 a.m. Drop-off is at the south campus — right in the heart of the route. Grades join from gathering spots and head toward Comstock Field.

The parade enters Comstock Field together for cheers, student spirit, and Homecoming Court coronation.

Varsity Football Game
Cap off Homecoming Friday with Friday Night Lights at Comstock Field. It’s a Green-Out — wear all your green and cheer on the Eagles as they take on the John Paul II – Plano Cardinals at home.
LCA students and alumni always receive free admission at any LCA game.

AlumNight at Homecoming
Grab your green and gold and join us for a special AlumNight Celebration during our Homecoming varsity game vs. John Paul II – Plano Cardinals.

LCA alums, come mingle and eat with beloved teachers and other alumni in this dedicated space for alumni and their immediate families. Please register so we know you are coming!

Homecoming Dance
An Upper School celebration to close out Homecoming weekend. All other Homecoming events welcome every division — the dance is reserved for 9th–12th grade students.
