The History of the Legacy Athletics Club

Legacy Athletics Club was formed in 2023 by six Legacy parent couples passionate about athletics at Legacy Christian Academy.

The Athletics Club is dedicated to supporting and enhancing middle and high school athletics at Legacy Christian Academy. We are founded on three core beliefs — Obeying God, Honoring Athletes, and Promoting Community — and raising the funds to make it happen. We believe in the transformative power of sports and are committed to providing our student-athletes with the resources, opportunities, and experiences they need to succeed both on and off the field.

The Legacy Athletics Club exists to provide a partnership of parents, faculty, coaches, students, alumni, interested individuals and organizations, and community leaders working together to promote excellence in the extracurricular opportunities of LCA students.

About LAC

What is the Legacy Athletics Club?

The Legacy Athletics Club (LAC) is a parent-led organization formed in 2023 to support and enhance middle and high school athletics at Legacy Christian Academy. LAC raises funds, coordinates volunteers, and partners with coaches and faculty to provide resources and experiences for student-athletes.

How is LAC different from the LCA Athletics department?

LCA Athletics oversees teams, schedules, and coaching through the school. LAC is a separate parent volunteer organization that supplements athletics through fundraising, events, hospitality, concessions, media guides, and Team Support Funds. Both work together to elevate the student-athlete experience.

Who can join or participate?

All LCA families are welcome to purchase annual membership, volunteer, donate, or advertise in the athletics media guide. You do not need to have a student currently on a team to support Eagle athletics.

Membership & Giving

What does annual membership include?

Annual membership is your all-access pass to support Legacy Athletics Club initiatives throughout the school year — including Team Support Funds for TAPPS and LCA-sanctioned teams, events, and community-building around Eagle athletics. Purchase membership through the GiveSmart portal.

What are Team Support Funds?

All LCA High School TAPPS and LCA-sanctioned official sports teams receive Team Support Funds distributed through LAC. These funds help teams with needs beyond what the school budget covers — equipment, events, hospitality, and program enhancements that directly benefit athletes.

How can I donate or purchase a media guide ad?

Complete the Volunteer Support form or email a board member for events, hospitality, concessions, communications, or team support committees.

Where do I find schedules and team information?

Visit the official LCA Athletics website for schedules, rosters, and game-day details. LAC focuses on fundraising and volunteer support; the athletics site is your hub for following teams.
