Where a love of Christ and learning meet
Kindergarten is one of the most formative seasons in a child's education. At Legacy Christian Academy, we partner with parents to build a strong academic foundation while nurturing confidence, character, and a genuine love for learning.
Your child will be surrounded by teachers who know them by name, classmates who become lifelong friends, and a community that shares your values. From phonics and math to Bible and hands-on science, every lesson is designed to prepare young Eagles for elementary school and beyond.
Families across Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Prosper, and North Texas choose Legacy kindergarten for a Christ-centered environment where children are safe, supported, and inspired to grow.
Learning Environment
Five pillars define the Legacy kindergarten experience — care, active learning, community, Christian values, and uncompromising safety.
Class sizes of up to 18 students with a dedicated aide (up to 20 with aide) — a true 10:1 ratio when support is needed. Every child receives individualized attention from teachers who invest in their hearts and minds.
Phonics-based literacy, mathematics, science, history, and Bible come alive through hands-on lessons, collaborative projects, and meaningful discovery — not passive seat time.
Kindergarten students are part of a vibrant Pre-K 3 through Grade 12 community. Older Eagles mentor younger ones, and school-wide traditions create a sense of belonging from day one.
Teachers model Christian values daily through our "Living Curriculum" — integrating biblical worldview into every subject and nurturing hearts alongside minds.
Armed security team, surveillance technology, double-buzz entry, and ID check-in protocols give families peace of mind.
Curriculum Overview
A rigorous, Christ-centered curriculum balances core academics with weekly enrichment — preparing students for first grade and every grade after.
Students engage with classroom technology and our digital creation lab — building digital literacy skills alongside traditional academics.
Daily Bible instruction and weekly chapel weave faith into the rhythm of each school day — not as an add-on, but as the heart of learning.
The Legacy Learning Center provides specialized support for neurodiverse learners within our close-knit community.
