For Prospective & Current Families

Your Window Into Life at Legacy

The Thrive Guide is Legacy’s signature resource for understanding who we are, what we value, and how your family fits into our community — from chapel and classrooms to Friday night lights and parent fellowship.

Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions your family will make. Parents tell us they want clarity: What will my child experience here? How will faith shape their day? What support exists for our family?

The Thrive Guide brings those answers together in one place — the same publication our admissions team shares with families considering Legacy, and the same guide current parents reference throughout the year.

The Legacy Difference

Five Pillars That Shape Every Student

Legacy develops leaders through five interconnected pillars — so your student thrives academically, creatively, competitively, relationally, and spiritually.

Academics

College-preparatory rigor rooted in biblical truth — from Early Learning through AP coursework and college counseling.

Athletics

Competitive programs that build discipline, teamwork, and Christlike character on and off the field.

Fine Arts

Music, theatre, and visual arts programs that cultivate creativity and worship through excellence.

Community

PTF, chapel, service, and campus traditions that make Legacy more than a school — a family in Christ.

Faith

Scripture integrated across every subject, every relationship, and every decision — not an add-on, but the foundation.

What Parents Ask Us

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Thrive Guide?

The Thrive Guide is Legacy Christian Academy’s comprehensive overview of life on campus — academics, faith, athletics, arts, tuition, parent partnership, and more. It is designed for families exploring LCA and for current parents who want a single reference for the year ahead.

Who is the Thrive Guide for?

Prospective families use it to understand whether Legacy is the right fit. Current Eagle families reference it for programs, policies, and campus culture. If you are asking “What is life really like at LCA?” — this guide is for you.

How do I use the digital guide?

Scroll through the embedded guide above or tap fullscreen for easier reading. You can also open it directly on ISSUU on your phone, tablet, or computer.

Do I need to be admitted to access the guide?

No. The Thrive Guide is available to any family considering Legacy. We encourage you to read it before your connection call so you can ask informed questions about programs, faith, and community.

How does Legacy partner with parents?

LCA is a Christian school for Christian families. We believe parents are the primary influencers in a child’s life, and our role is to come alongside you through mentoring relationships, chapel, Parent Teacher Fellowship, and open communication. Education here is a covenant partnership.

Where can I find tuition and financial aid information?

The Thrive Guide includes a tuition overview. For detailed rates and financial aid options, visit our Tuition Information and Affording LCA pages, or speak with Admissions during your connection call.

Can we visit campus before applying?

Yes. After exploring the guide and completing a virtual tour, families schedule a connection call with Admissions and can arrange an on-campus visit. Start at our Admissions Center to take the first step.

What makes Legacy different from other schools in Frisco?

Legacy combines rigorous college-preparatory academics with a distinctly Christian community. Relationships are at the heart of our school — teachers know students by name, families worship and serve together, and our Portrait of a Graduate defines the leader we form from Pre-K through senior year.
