Legacy Learning Center · Upper School
Support for diagnosed neurodiverse learners in Upper School, preparing students for college and beyond through accommodations, specialist partnership, and growing independence.
Who It Is For
Upper School LLC serves students with a qualifying neurodiverse diagnosis, current psychoeducational testing, and a documented educational need. The goal is the same LLC mission: maximize God-given potential through learning awareness, self-advocacy, and organizational habits.
Support stays connected to the full Upper School experience: rigorous academics, faith community, and college advising pathways.
Getting Started
Current documentation protects both classroom support and future college testing accommodations.
What Support Looks Like
Levels are matched to documented need. Dyslexia therapy is also available across divisions.
Level 1
Individualized Accommodation Plan based on educational need, including extended time, quiet testing room access, and noise-canceling headphones when appropriate.
Levels 2 & 3
LLC specialist support for Schoology ownership, planner review, priority planning, independent work modules, monthly study techniques, grade tracking, and teacher conferences. Level 3 adds digital accommodations such as text-to-speech and speech-to-text.
College-Ready Testing
Testing must be current within three years, required by LCA and by ACT/SAT college boards for accommodation requests. Specialists help students practice self-advocacy they will need after graduation.
